The new CYO fittings series combines Dornbracht’s rich design legacy with a new vision of the future. Inspired by a design from the company’s 1969 archive, CYO is a luxurious range made with uncompromising precision and balanced proportions, directly responding to the customer’s need for functional, yet elegant design.
Originally conceived by the renowned German studio, Sieger Design, the CYO series is a reinterpretation of the historic ‘C spout’. Authentic, genuine and tangible, the sculptural new design has been modernised to embody premium workmanship, manufacturing and the highest standards of quality.
The central design elements define the complete product range, consisting of a washbasin, bathtub and shower, further complemented by matching accessories, resulting in a harmonious concept that covers all areas of application in the bathroom.
The distinctive circular contour of the spout is used consistently throughout the series - from the handle elements to the water jet, which follows the shape of the spout in a graceful manner. The tap handle is operated by a rotatable outer ring that emphasises the functional aspects of the range, in addition to the finely tuned washer that provides conscious, tactile feedback each time the handle is turned.
Customers of the CYO series benefit from a broad selection of handle inserts in various finishes and materials, including natural stone and metallic designs. The bi-structural finishes combine glossy and matt surfaces to add a subtle form of contrast and additional sophistication. Dornbracht also offers a customisation service, allowing for further possibilities of individualisation and design freedom.
