2019 SIHH WATCH FAIR READY TO SET THE TONE FOR THE YEAR TO COME, WITH THE INNOVATION HIGH ON ITS AGENDA

The 4-day trade show, that will run until Thursday January 17 will see the major industry’s players define the trends for the year to come.

The watch industry’s first major event of the year, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), will open its doors on Monday January 14 at the Geneva’s Palexpo exhibition centre.

The 4-day trade show, that will run until Thursday January 17 will see the major industry’s players define the trends for the year to come.

Carrying the transformation that began two years ago, the SIHH 2019 will be more connected, more dynamic and more open to the world, welcoming 35 exhibitors, with 18 Historic Maisons including Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Hermès, Girard-Perregaux, Piaget and 17 Independent brands in the Carré des Horlogers.

The big new feature will be the SIHH LAB where visitors will be able to discover more than 20 innovative technologies and digital projects with connections to the luxury industry.

Building on a hugely successful debut last year, the SIHH LIVE concept will be stronger than ever. In a packed programme of events, the auditorium hands over the stage to exhibitors and to exchanges of ideas. Each day, guests and influential personalities from high-level disciplines such as design, arts and new technologies will come together to discuss the most topical issues.

As in previous years, on its last day, SIHH will again open to public, offering the watch enthusiasts a glimpse of the industry’s latest timepieces and technical innovations.

First conducted in 1991, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie has grown to be the world's Premier celebration of the high-end luxury watches. Only a small selection of watch brands are invited to appear on the famed alleys of the Geneva fair. Connoisseurs of technics, art and style gather to admire timepieces and new collections.
