Revolutionary XRAI Glass App Allows Conversations To Be Subtitled In Real-Time On Augmented Reality Glasses
  • Instant short summary of any conversation or instruction - subtitled on lenses of special AR glasses
  • Real-time translation of nine of world’s leading languages – again delivered right in front of your eyes
  • “Hey, XRAI…..?” pilot launch of ground-breaking Personal AI Assistant for the eyes: instantly answers any highly complex question; far more powerful & effective than all current voice assistants
  • Allows people who are deaf and hard of hearing to ‘see’ conversations
  • A revolutionary app that can turn speech into subtitles and translate into different languages, displaying the text on smart glasses, has launched globally.

The XRAI (pronounced X-Ray) Glass app is now available on the Google Play Store and, when used in conjunction with Nreal Air Augmented Reality smart glasses, uses artificial intelligence to add subtitles to real-life conversations in real-time for the glass’s wearer.

The technology can also translate between nine of the world’s most common languages and the app also features a ground-breaking Personal AI Assistant for the eyes.

The revolutionary new features have been unveiled by the trailblazing tech company, XRAI Glass, whose software has recently allowed deaf people to ‘see’ conversations as subtitles on the AR glasses.

From today, XRAI Glass’s app will allow any user around the world to instantly view on the special glasses a shorter summary of any conversation or instruction they have had when using the app.

Millions of people who struggle to remember the detail of anything they are listening to will potentially benefit, whether their memory is impaired or they just find it hard to concentrate, often due to the pace of daily life.

But the pioneering company also believe it will strongly appeal to Gen Zers and millennials for whom viewing subtitles is now second nature: that important work meeting can now be summarised, that long university lecture too. Anyone, if they wish, will be able to subtitle almost any aspect of their daily life via the app and the glasses - far more than just watching social videos, films and TV series with captions as they might currently do.

At the same time, XRAI Glass have announced that the combination of their app and the AR glasses will also allow users to get real-time translation straight onto their glasses’ lenses. Nine of the world’s leading languages are covered: English, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and Italian.  More are set to follow.

Getting directions when abroad, ordering the right meal or watching foreign TV, film and theatre will now be much easier for just about anyone, anywhere in the world.

Finally, XRAI Glass are also launching a pilot ground-breaking Personal AI Assistant for the eyes. When the user asks any question they wish, even hugely complex ones, the answer instantly appears as captions on the glasses.

By utilizing cutting edge deep learning technology, including Large Language Models (LLMs), XRAI Glass’ Personal AI Assistant is far more powerful and effective than the current generation of voice assistants. Students will reap some of the most obvious benefits, but it can work for every sector of society. Clearly it will help transform the lives of people whose hearing is impaired or those who struggle to concentrate.

These breakthrough features come less than four months after XRAI Glass first unveiled their revolutionary software to specifically help deaf and hard of hearing people ‘see’ what people around them are saying, so allowing them to take part far more easily in conversations at work, school or in family and social settings.

XRAI Glass Founder and CEO, Dan Scarfe, born and brought up in the UK but now Toronto-based and one of the world’s leading tech entrepreneurs, came up with the idea when looking for ways to talk to his 97-year-old grandfather who had become increasingly deaf.

The XRAI Glass app is available to download via the Google Play Store, while the accompanying Nreal Air Augmented Reality glasses are available via Amazon.

Please note: XRAI Glass is pronounced “X-ray”
