On Alibaba's annual 11.11 Global shopping day more than 600 million consumers will experience "New Retail” - Alibaba’s strategy that combines elements of physical and online retail with an intensive focus on customer engagement.

Alibaba's annual 11.11 Global shopping day.  More than 600 million consumers will experience "New Retail” - Alibaba’s strategy that combines elements of physical and online retail with an intensive focus on customer engagement.  Over 140,000 brands, including 60,000 global companies like Adidas, L'Oreal and Siemens participate in the 24-hour shopping festival. The world's largest shopping day is bigger than Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day and Cyber Monday — combined. Last year the annual event generated over RMB120 billion (U.S $17.8) in gross merchandise volume.
