The International Falcons Conference, under the theme " Together for the Sustainability of Falconry," concluded after two days as part of the 5th edition of the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2023 in Riyadh.

Experts, specialists and falconers from the Kingdom and abroad attended the event ended with recommendations regarding preservation of falcons, educating communities about this heritage, passing it on to future generations, encouraging and supporting the establishment of centers for caring and breeding falcons, and supporting research and scientific surveys aimed at detecting and characterizing infectious and non-infectious agents that may affect falcons, and encouraging falconers to participate in falcon release programs.

The recommendations emphasized the urgent need to establish regulations to determine the period during which falconers can keep their falcon, with suggestions of a duration of 10 years. It is also necessary to establish more centers for breeding traditional falconry prey species.
