BENEDICT PETERS HONOURED AT THE EURO-KNOWLEDGE FORUM

 

OPEC Secretary-General Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo and Nigeria's leading Release oil and gas executive Aiteo founder Benedict Peters  are to be honoured at the Euro-Knowledge Forum at London's House of Lords on April 29, 2019 along with Innovate 1 Pay chairman Mahmood Ahmadu, who sets strategy for  the  largest provider platform for payment services in Nigeria. Co-founder and CEO Anthony Nwachukwu implements the vision with an outstanding team of managers and technology staff. Innovate 1 Pay brings together a diverse and experienced group  deliver ing world class service. According to a 2017 World Bank estimate, 1.7 billion people are unbanked, and it is their vision at Innovate 1 to bridge that gap.
Peters' entrepreneurship in the oil and gas industry, which originated in 1999 in the downstream sector, led to Aiteo's winning bid for the largest onshore oil block in sub-Saharan Africa. 


Euro-Knowledge Awards acknowledge and celebrate exemplary leaders who have made signiï¬cant contributions and positive impact in their speciï¬c fields as role models, tech giants, innovators, and community and inspirational leaders.
Additional award winners this year include the chairman of Channels Television, John Momoh, Chief Kesington Adebukunoloa Adebutu (aka Baba Ijebu), chairman of Premier Lotto Nigeria, and Zulfiquar Ghadiyali, CEO at The Royal Office of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan. Well-known in the construction and steel manufacturing sector, Ghadiyali manages investment projects across Asia, North Africa and the Middle East in real estate, hospitality, general trading, mining, fintech, AI and AR-based tech projects. Other notable awardees include the former-President of Botswana Festus Mogae, the governor of Ghana's Central Bank, Dr. Ernest Kwamina Yedu Addison, social justice advocate Marina Litvinenko, and business leader Lina Haidar, whose achievements range from oil and gas, to logistics, telecommunications, and real estate.  
Euro-Knowledge Award entries comprise 15 categories including industrial leadership, corporate social responsibility, leading airlines, leading IT companies, leading African oil and gas companies, lifetime leadership achievements, business leader of the year, emerging leader of the year, leading CEO of the year, women leadership, leading public service, outstanding investors, good governance, leading bankers, and politician of excellence. 


The ceremony begins with a tour of the House of Lords, followed by a forum on trade, investment and governance, and concludes with a networking reception and dinner with entertainment. The presentation of awards and a keynote address will be given by journalist Nick Kochan. 
Announcement of the Awards will be published following the April 29th ceremony in the Financial Times newspaper.
