FRAME PICTURES TO SUPPLY CAMERA SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT FOR UPCOMING MAJOR KOREAN DRAMA SERIES AND FILM

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 17 August 2018 - Spackman Entertainment Group Limited ("Spackman Entertainment Group" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), one of Korea's leading entertainment production groups founded by financier Charles Spackman, wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Frame Pictures Co., Ltd. ("Frame Pictures"), has won contracts to supply camera systems and equipment for three upcoming major Korean drama series, THE GREATEST DIVORCE, THE BEAUTY INSIDE and 100 MILLION STARS FALLING FROM THE SKY and the Korean film, GIRL COPS

The total contract value for the four camera equipment deals tentatively stands at KRW 573 million (approximately US$515,700[1]) subject to changes in final filming schedule.

 Featuring rising star Wi Ha-jun of the Group's associated company, Spackman Media Group Limited ("SMGL") and directed by Jung Da-won, GIRL COPS is an upcoming Korean crime thriller movie to be released in 2019. The film depicts the story of a female policer officer who teams up with her sister-in-law to solve a case of a revenge porn victim committing suicide. The film also headlines Ra Mi-ran of THE MAYOR (2017) and THE LAST PRINCESS (2016) and Lee Sung-kyung of DOCTORS (2016).  

Starring top Korean actress Bae Doona of SMGL, THE GREATEST DIVORCE is an upcoming romantic comedy drama, scheduled to air in October 2018 on KBS2. Directed by Yoo Hyun-ki, the film is a remake of a popular Japanese drama, MATRIMONIAL CHAOS, written by Sakamoto Yuji, who also wrote the original drama of tvN's MOTHER.

THE BEAUTY INSIDE is a fantasy drama adaptation of the romance film of the same name, featuring Lee Min-ki of FOR THE EMPEROR (2014) and Seo Hyun-jin of TEMPERATURE OF LOVE (2017). The love story between a top actress, who changes her appearance whenever a certain supernatural phenomenon occurs, and an airline executive is expected to air in September 2018 on JTBC.

A drama remake of the 2002 Japanese TV series SORA KARA FURU ICHIOKU NO HOSHI, HUNDRED MILLION STARS FROM THE SKY is set to be released in September 2018 on tvN. Starring Seo In-guk of SHOPAHOLIC LOUIS (2016) and Jung So-min of BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST TIME (2017), the drama follows the story of two people who cross each other's paths in their daily lives but have a fateful meeting.

On 7 May 2018, the Company announced that it would spin-off Novus Mediacorp and Frame Pictures into a combined entity to seek listing on the Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited to exploit the growing post-theatrical and camera equipment leasing markets.
