PARIS – Tuesday 2nd October 2018: DS Automobiles, the new French brand, will present four world premieres at this year’s Paris Motor Show:


  • DS 3 CROSSBACK, the new SUV icon of high-tech style and its 100% electric version, the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE.
  • DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 equipped with a high performance, hybrid petrol powertrain.
  • DS E-TENSE FE 19, 100% electric single-seater from the FIA Formula E championship, dressed-up in its new 2018/2019 livery.
  • DS X E-TENSE, the brand's full electric dream car, the vision of luxury on the 2035 horizon.


DS Automobiles will also present the new, limited edition DS 3 FOREVER which will enrich the new DS 3 range; a range which will adopt the new electronics architecture and offer new technology equipment.


Yves Bonnefont, CEO of DS Automobiles said: “DS writes a new chapter in its history with these four world premieres at the Paris Motor Show. Electrification is at the core of the DS's strategy. The first electrified DS models will be on the road in 2019 with the DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4, equipped with a high-performance, hybrid powertrain and with the 100% electric DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE. As of 2025, all new DS models will be exclusively electrified versions”.

Available in 2019, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4X4 - the PHEV hybrid powertrain by DS - and DS 3 CROSSBACK ETENSE – the first ever full electric DS car - delivers the strategy of electrification availability over the entire range.

For its discerning customers, who demand personalisation and exclusivity, DS Automobiles has created “ONLY YOU, the DS experience”, a programme of exclusive services for a unique brand experience. DS models are distributed via DS STORES and DS SALONS, comprising the new network exclusive to DS Automobiles. In the first half of 2018, 140 showrooms were opened around the world and the brand has 340 sites open by the end of June 2018, including DS WORLD PARIS, its flagship at 33 Rue François 1er, Paris.
