In the interests of preventive consumer safety, GARDENA Manufacturing GmbH recalls the Battery Lawnmowers PowerMax ™ Li-40/37 (art. No. 5038) and Li-40/41 (art. No. 5041). The products were sold from January 2017 to November 2018 in DIY stores, garden centers and online shops in several European countries.
In-house tests revealed a short circuit in the electronics during use and stor-age under certain conditions, which could cause a fire hazard.
Consumers are requested to discontinue use, to remove the battery for stor-age and to contact the Gardena Service to arrange the return of the mower for revision: Phone +49 731 490-2577 (Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm) or email ser-vice@gardena.com.
