Some of Georgian citizens are getting text messages offering them to buy or to distribute drugs. One of the political parties – Girchi made an experiment following the instruction in the message and they bought drugs without any problems - in 40 minutes.

Nicka, who lives in Tbilisi got a Russian text message two days ago. If he transferred the money on the given account, he was offered to buy drugs on the internet and receive them at any agreed location. Not simply buying the drugs, the offer also included employment opportunities in drug distribution.

“It’s a simple message, you can buy anything you want – starting from amphetamine to heroine. All types of drugs are yours just having one simple app. The most ridiculous thing is that employment opportunities are offered”.

The same messages are sent to other citizens daily. Many of the addressees are under aged. People say that the government must react to these cases immediately and in a very severe way.

“I got a Viber message a couple of months ago from Ksenia, writing to me that if I wanted to buy some drugs for 100 GEL or more, I needed to contact heron the given website”.

“I have never got this kind of text message. How it may happen? it’s the violation of the laws!”.

Political party “Girchi” conducted investigation how drugs can be purchased after receiving the same messages. The leader of the party, Zurab Japaridze bought 5 grams of bio narcotic in 40 seconds and handed it to the police.

“They send you the pricelist, you put the money on their accounts using the machines and then they send you the exact location, including GPS coordinates with photos.”

Stand-up in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: we couldn’t get any comments, the only thing that we have is the text message that the investigation has started.
Citizens and experts say that people involved in illegal drug trade should be impeached immediately as there is treat to make drugs easily accessible and used.
