A DISABLED TUNISIAN MAN OVERCOMES THE CHALLENGES FACING HIM TO SUCCESSFULLY BECOME A LAWYER

 

This is a human story, that of Mohamed Amine Ben Yussef, who succeeded in overcoming his disability, completed his studies successfully, and became a lawyer. He is now an advocate for the causes of disabled persons. Ever since his bar graduation he has been pleading in court for his clients rights.

Lawyer: I chose to become a lawyer to better know my rights in order to be able to defend myself in my country whilst also being able to help those who like me are in need.

Mother: He has always been a success in his studies from primary  to high school and university ; he’s also published a book.

Script

Mohamed was affected by his disability at the age of 8 years. He could not walk, nor could he use his hands and found it hard to talk. Once court hearings are over, he continues his work at the office dealing with his clients’ dossiers. His mother supports him in each of his endeavours and teaches his son. His father takes time to help too. Another passion of his is his poetry which he writes in French and has successfully published pieces in a book titled “the Four Seasons”.
